• Dear Lord, It is the start of a new week and I want to thank you for another week full of possibilities, experiences, and memories. Thank you for being here to guide me towards everything good that I can do.

• Dear Lord, Today I ask for your guidance as I embark on a new week. I pray you fill my heart with purpose, passion, and grace to help me find the words needed to inspire and encourage my students throughout the week.

• Dear God, I pray that this week is full of happiness and joy. Teach me to be kind, understanding, patient, and forgiving towards my students. Bless me with compassion and strength to lead my students on the right path.

• Dear God, Thank you for this new beginning! I am looking forward to learning something new every day. Teach me so that I may be a better teacher and a more patient person. Thanks, in advance, for your help, Amen.

• Dear Lord, please watch over my students and help them do their best this week. Let them succeed and learn a lot. Give me the strength to do a good job for them. Bless them and bless their families too.

• I pray that all your teachers have a wonderful week and are blessed with happiness, good health, and peace!

• As I start a new week it’s with a renewed sense of hope and possibilities. I pray that my enthusiasm and excitement are contagious. My job is tough, but I wouldn’t want to do anything else.

• Dear God, please guide me in the right direction this and every day. Keep shining down on me every day and give me the strength to make it through the week with a positive attitude.

• My children, I love you all so much. Each of you has a part of my heart and your presence brightens each day. I pray that God will bless each of you in all that you do!

• Happy first day of school! I hope each one of you enjoys this week. Take pride in your education and always treasure it.

• My prayers go out to the many teachers facing this new week. I can’t touch it, but you certainly deserve it. Your hard work is appreciated!

• Dear God, please help me to not over-schedule myself this week. Let me remember to take care of myself as well as my students. Give me the strength to remain calm when things become stressful or chaotic.

• Dear Lord, please watch over me as I step back into the classroom tomorrow. Please give me the strength and patience I need to help today’s children learn. Help me to keep my chin up even on my worst day, and most of all give me a good sense of humor so that I can be one with the kids.

• Dear God, please help me be the kind of teacher I know my students need me to be. Open my eyes so that I may see the unique and beautiful qualities each one of them has. Help me foster their interests as I nurture their abilities.

• Dear Lord and my friends I thank you for this week, in which we have a lot to work on but luckily are ready to get the job done.

• Dear God, please allow my students to be like sponges and soak up all the knowledge I am trying to push through their thick heads. Please let them see what I see when I look at them as individuals.

• Dear Lord, I pray for courage to face the challenges of this week. Courage to give all my best. Courage to look at myself and others more kindly. Courage to accomplish my tasks and to do them with the wisest use of time and energy. May each day be rewarding and satisfying!

• Look over these faces Lord, they come to you with hope in their hearts and dreams in their eyes. Make us ready for the challenges ahead, and be our teacher. Keep us safe and healthy, until we meet again.

• Dear Lord, please have mercy on me because I have trouble having mercy on myself. Help me to forgive those who have hurt my feelings and remember that to err is human. But dominate over it humanely.
